WHEN THE PANDEMIC STRUCK, I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO SLOW DOWN, FIND SPACE, READ AND REFLECT.

IN 2021, I RESEARCHED, SCRIPTED AND EDITED A FEATURE DOCUMENTARY

AND THE BREAKDOWN IN HEALTH, ECOLOGY, SAFETY AND INTEGRITY.

AS THE YEAR CLOSED, I DELIVERED A SPEECH AT MY FORMER COLLEGE EMPHASISING THE NEED TO USE OUR SKILLS FOR GOOD.
INSPIRED BY MY OWN MESSAGE I SHIFTED INTO ADVOCACY WORK FOR CLIMATE AND ANIMALS.

USING THE SKILLS I'D DEVELOPED, I TRIED TO TELL PURPOSEFUL, COMPELLING STORIES THAT ADVOCATED FOR SYSTEMIC CHANGE.
I OVERSHOT AND BURNT OUT FROM THE HEAVY AND INTENSE WORKLOAD, LEADING ME TO REST AND REFLECT.

RESTED AND RECHARGED, I TOOK ON A MAJOR PROJECT EXPOSING EXTREME SYSTEMIC ANIMAL CRUELTY.
ONCE FINISHED, I FOUND MYSELF IN EVEN GREATER PAIN THAN BEFORE,
ACHINGLY TRYING TO LEARN HOW TO PROCESS AND GRIEVE THE IMMENSE SUFFERING I HAD REPEATEDLY WITNESSED.

2025, THE YEAR I DEVELOPED MY CAPACITY TO MOURN, TO RECEIVE AND FEEL MY BODY AGAIN.

2023
This year fostered significant growth as I applied my commercial experience to tell purposeful, compelling stories that advocate for systemic change.
