Hey, I'm Nathan.

I'm a UK-based filmmaking and photography practitioner

telling stories of the system we live in,

the challenges we face

and the ordinary people stepping into their collective power

to better support life.

Before this, I spent six years

working with brands and professional athletes,

developing my craft

through creating powerful cinematic promos,

short documentaries

and shooting photography.

I worked with with the likes of

Anthony Joshua, Francis Ngannou and Georges St-Pierre

and the things I made

ended up on their channels

and on screens in Madison Square Garden and the 02 Arena.

Now, I try to create art to serve life.

I help weave together stories

into concise impactful films,

produce longer docu-style pieces

and shoot photography.

I hope what I create can support people

in shaping a more connected and loving world.

I also like books

so if you're interested in what I'm reading

you can see here.

FROM COMBAT SPORTS TO ADVOCACY

THE TIMELINE

2017

After college, my Film Studies lecturer nominated me to create a European vlog series for a local cruise agency, and my final project, The Bagman, won 'Best Short Film 21 and Under' at the Wales International Film Festival, leading to a position at Tanabi.

2018

During an intensive year at Tanabi, creating high-impact sports promos, I also began studying Filmmaking at the University of Sussex, building a strong portfolio through both academic and freelance work.

2019

An opportunity to travel to Miami to film world-class UFC fighters kicked off a whirlwind year of global adventures with Tanabi and Munzberger Fight Promotions, serving as an intense masterclass that accelerated my personal and professional development.

2020

Building on the previous year, I began creating short documentaries on fighters, establishing a strong partnership with Tanabi and Munzberger Fight Promotions. When the pandemic struck, I seized the opportunity to slow down, reflect, read, meditate, and find space.

2021

I spent several months researching, scripting and editing a feature documentary on the link between our relationship with animals and some of the most pressing issues of our time. I then began working full-time for Love Hemp, focusing on their content needs, particularly their UFC and Anthony Joshua partnerships.

2022

I transitioned to freelancing, crafting powerful UFC promos and popular videos for The Combat Sports Agency. At the year's end, I delivered a speech to my former college's media department, emphasising the need to use our skills for the greater good. Inspired by my own message, I shifted into advocacy work for climate and animals.

2023

This year fostered significant growth as I applied my commercial experience to tell purposeful, compelling stories that advocate for systemic change. However, by the end, I felt drained from the intense workload and shifted my focus to developing sustainable work practices and prioritising self-care.

2024

Rested and recharged, I took on a major project exposing extreme animal cruelty, honing my ability to tell powerful stories that are difficult for people to confront.

2025

The year I developed my capacity to mourn, to be in community, receive and feel.
